Vintage 15: That Is Where We Are
D'eric & Bamba | Wedding
As Frank Sinatra said, "love and marriage go together like horse and carriage.
It is an institute you cannot disparage."
They say that marriage is like wine. It gets better with age. Ever wondered where the term vintage come from. VINT stands for winemaking. AGE for the year grapes were picked and made into wine.
"As we renew our vows on our 15th year of marriage, we remember the promise we made to each other on our wedding day. To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish each, richer or poorer till death do us part. Our first vow was borne of blinding love, passion, dedication and devotion. Happy, contented we made a life and a family. As days passed, reality sets in. Marriage is not the Promised land overflowing with milk and honey."
"Life happens. We stayed together, accepted each other. Roll with the times. We embraced our faults, weaknesses even the crazy, troubled times. It required our iron will, strong heart, rational mind but most of all, we have our love, compassion and faith in each other. We did not lose the reason why we are together. Cristal clear - it should be. Just like the "Cristal champagne which can be conserved for over twenty years without losing its freshness and character"."
"Our love grows. We renew our commitment. You and I.
We belong together not only for the next 20 years. Till eternity."
